A delegation from Perm visited the capital of Belarus
Minsk industrial enterprises are interested in further cooperation with our city. In addition, the Sovetsky district of Minsk and Motovilikhinsky district of Perm are planning to establish partnership relations. Both territories celebrate their 85th anniversary in 2023.
A delegation from Perm visited the capital of the Republic of Belarus. This year, the Sovetsky district of Minsk celebrates its 85th anniversary. On this occasion, the heads of the district of the Belarusian capital sent a proposal to the Motovilikhinsky district of Perm, which also celebrates its 85th anniversary in 2023, to establish partnership relations.
During the meeting with the Head of the Sovetsky district Sergey Khilman, the First Deputy Head of Perm City Administration Eduard Khairullin and Igor Salnikov, Acting Head of the Motovilikhinsky district, expressed their interest in developing cooperation.
Sergei Khilman said that for the last four years the district had been keeping the lead in the social and economic competition in the Belarusian capital. As for cooperation with the Russian regions, the administration is constantly and consistently carrying out this work.
"We have never lost touch with the Russian regions. Many of them have become our twin partners. We exchange visits and constantly expand the geography of our friendship," said Sergei Khilman.
"In 2022, Governor of the Kama Region Dmitry Makhonin met with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. During that meeting the areas of industrial cooperation were outlined. Perm's economy is based on industrial enterprises, united innovation clusters. Minsk also has many industrial and innovative enterprises. The agreements reached are already in operation, in particular, construction companies from Minsk have already started to appear in Perm. From April 2 a direct flight from Perm to Minsk will be launched, so tourism between our cities will develop as well," commented Eduard Khairullin.
He thanked his colleagues for an interesting dialogue and invited the delegation of the city of Minsk to take part in the celebrations dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Perm. The delegation from the administration of the Sovetsky district of Minsk is also invited to take part in the celebration of the 85th anniversary of the Motovilikhinsky district in October.
The Russian guests got acquainted with the products of the enterprises of the Sovetsky district. The district administration organised an exhibition on the basis of the BNTU "Polytechnic" scientific and technological park in order to stimulate its export to the regions of Russia. The Perm delegation visited the science and technology park of the Belarusian National Technical University "Polytechnic", where the products of the main enterprises of the Sovetsky district of Minsk were presented, as well as the economic and investment potential of the Sovetsky district of Minsk was presented to the Perm guests.
Thus, RUE "Belfarmatsiya" is ready to conclude direct contracts with Perm pharmaceutical manufacturers, the communal unitary enterprise "Minskvneshtorginvest" is ready to consider organising and holding fairs of Belarusian manufacturers in Perm. JSC Minsk Scientific and Research Institute of Instrument Engineering considers cooperation with such Perm enterprises as JSC "Perm Machine-Building Plant", PJSC "Morion", JSC "Proton-PM", JSC "UEC_Aviadvigatel"/JSC "UEC-Perm Motors" promising.
According to Belarusian colleagues, industrial cooperation and cooperation in the humanitarian sphere will allow Minsk and Perm to solve many problems. Perm is a promising partner in point of building new algorithms of bilateral cooperation in terms of export and import of industrial products. Both sides also expressed their interest in developing contacts in the social sphere and municipal economy. The experts are ready to share their experience in maintaining parks and squares, in youth policy, and in organising work with contractors.
It should be noted that the Sovetsky district is the youngest district of Minsk. There are three major universities, 18 shopping centres, a well-developed catering system with more than 500 cafes and restaurants there. The flagship of industry is Amkodor, OJSC, a successful diversified company, which produces more than 6.5 thousand commercial products, famous all over the world. The Scientific and Technological Park BNTU "Polytechnic" is the pride of the region. During its operation it and its residents have received 70 patents. Radmetron LLC, a manufacturer of unique radiation control equipment, is also located here. The equipment created by the enterprise is exported to more than 90 countries of the world.
